Jennifer Rostock melden sich nach zwei Jahre mit ihrem neuen fünften Album „Genau in diesem Ton“ zurück, das am 09.09. erscheint. Doch Jennifer Rostock haben nicht nur ein neues Album am Start, sondern auch ein neues Label, nämlich Four Music. Genauso radikal wie dieser Schritt, ist auch die neue Single und das Video zu „Irgendwas ist Immer“.
Jeder einzelne Song der neuen Platte zelebriert die Lust und den Drang, weiter zu gehen als je zuvor. Diese Kompromisslosigkeit hört man auch im Sound. Man hört eine Band, die es derbe abfeiert zusammenzuspielen, und gerade deshalb entzieht sich die Platte jeglichen Produktionsdogmen oder Genrespielregeln. Alles so wie’s muss, jeder Song dahin, wo er hinwill. Weil sie den Schlagzeugsound auf einem Defeater-Album gefeiert haben, ergoogelten sie sich das Recording Studio, nahmen den Hörer in die Hand und saßen eine Woche später mit Jason Maas zusammen im Studio. Deutschpunk-Produzent Vincent Sorg und Mixingkoryphäe Moritz Enders rundeten den Sound ab.
