Die Serie mit dem Namen „Bridesman“ zeigt die Geschichte eines schwulen Brautjungfern, der die Hochzeit seines besten Freundes sabotiert. Die von John Onieal erstellte Show besteht aus sechs bis zehnminütigen Folgen, die im Herbst auf YouTube Premiere feiern sollen. Wie pride.com berichtet, soll es die Folgen auch als In-App-Version für die 5 Millionen aktiven Nutzer, die Grindr täglich hat.
Alex Black von Grindr sagt über die kommende Serie: „Bridesman ist maßgeschneidert für die Grindr-Community. Es ist clever, seltsam, kampflustig und bietet scharfe Kommentare zum Gay Dating, heteronormativen Standards und Grindr selbst. Wir sind so stolz darauf, einige der besten Talente der Queer-Community zu präsentieren, während wir weiterhin neue und kreative Wege finden, um unsere Nutzer zu verbinden“.
