Dieser 17 Jährige ist das erste männliche CoverGirl-Model

James Charles ist blutjunge 17 Jahre alt und darf sich das erste männliche CoverGirl nennen, nachdem er seine Make-Up Künste im letzten Jahr auf Instagram postete und diese viral gingen. Nun war der Schüler bei Ellen DeGeneres in der Show. 

Alles began vor einem Jahr, als James beschloss sein „Senior Year“-Foto für das Schulbuch neu machen zu lassen, damit sein Make-Up und die Highlights besser hervorstechen. Anschließend postete er das Foto auf seiner Instagram Seite und es ging viral. Schon meldete sich der Make-Up-Gigant „CoverGirl“. 

James outete sich mit 12 Jahren als schwul bei seinen Eltern und lebt auch offen schwul an seiner Schule in seiner Kleinstadt. Sowohl seine Eltern, als auch die Schule akzeptieren ihn, so wie er ist und es ist schön zu sehen, dass es auch Orte gibt, an denen Menschen wie James, so sein können, wie sie sind.

My glow is @anastasiabeverlyhills moon child glow kit in pink heart & lips are ABH potion. Over top I layered @limecrimemakeup diamond crusher in trip.

I am so beyond excited and overwhelmed and happy and astonished and of course, SHOOK, to announce that I am the newest face of @covergirl. First ever male ambassador for the brand and I am so honored and excited to be working with such an iconic brand. I started my Instagram one year ago to inspire others and as an artistic outlet to challenge myself creatively. I truly hope that this shows that anyone and everyone can wear makeup and can do anything if you work hard.
