Madonna ist immer noch auf ihrer großen „Rebel Heart“-Tour unterwegs und nach Deutschland hat sie zuletzt die Insel bespielt. Und natürlich muss ich euch wieder das neuste Update in Sachen „Madonna auf Tour“ geben. Nach ihrer kontroversen Show in Manchester wurde nun auch die Show in Glasgow etwas anders als geplant.
Ihre Show in Manchester begann Madonna eine ganze Stunde später als geplant. Die Fans dankten es der Queen of Pop mit Buhrufen. Zwischen zwei ihrer ruhigeren Songs nahm sie sich die Zeit, um ihr Publikum etwas zurecht zu weisen: “If you diva bitches keep complaining about it, don’t come to my show,”. Madonna stellte klar, dass sie nicht zu spät gekommen ist, weil sie „Backstage sitzt und Schokolade isst“, sondern weil die Videos zur Show abgestürzt waren und 75 % ihrer Bühnenshow nunmal aus Videoprojektionen besteht. Für ihr Statement wurde sie von vielen Besuchern im Publikum gefeiert:
Doch es kam noch besser. Durch die Verspätung entschied die Konzerthalle das Konzert spätestens um 23:39 Uhr zu beenden und so fehlten ganze drei Songs, inklusive dem großen Abschlusssong „Holiday“. Sicherlich ärgerlich für die zahlreichen Fans und auch Madonna äußerte sich am nächsten Tag via Social Media:

Auch die Besucher in Glasgow durften eine etwas andere Show bestaunen. Denn noch vor dem letzten Song „Holiday“ wurde plötzlich das Hallenlicht angeschaltet, nachdem die Bühne keine Stromversorgung mehr hatte. Madonna kam dennoch mit allen Tänzern und Musikern auf die Bühne und gab ihren letzten Song, als eine Art Unplugged-Version mit Hilfe des Publikums, zum Besten. Warum es keinen Sound und Strom gab, ist nicht bekannt.
Glasgow war die letzte Europa-Show von Madonna im Rahmen der aktuellen Tour. Am 20. Januar 2016 wird die Tour in Atlanta fortgesetzt und endet am 27. März 2016 in Brisbane, Australien. Wir können uns also auf weitere witzige Geschichten von der „Rebel Heart“-Tour freuen.
