Troye Sivan & Lauv haben den perfekten Anti-Valentinstags-Song für Dich!

Der mit Platin ausgezeichnete Independent Sänger, Songwriter, Produzent und Popvisionär Lauv enthüllt seine neue Single “i’m so tired…” und mit auf der Platte ist Troye Sivan. Einer unserer wichtigsten aktuellen LGBTQ-Künstler. Was für eine Mischung.

Troye Sivan sagt über den Song: “’i’m so tired…“ ist ein Herzschmerz-Song über einen unwiderstehlichen Menschen. Lauv ist ein fantastischer Songwriter und das Lied entstand, als wir gerade gemeinsam für sein Projekt schrieben. Dieses Duett ist quasi ein Zufallsprodukt und ich freue mich riesig, dabei zu sein.”

Lauv fügt hinzu: “Ich bin schon länger ein großer Fan von Troyes Musik und allem, was er sonst noch so für die Welt tut. Mit ihm zu arbeiten war natürlich eine absolute Ehre. Als wir den Song ‘i’m so tired…’ schrieben, klang Troye einfach so toll, dass es auf der Hand lag, den Track zusammen aufzunehmen.” Diese Veröffentlichung ist die vorerst letzte von Lauv, bevor er sich ins Studio zurückzieht, um sein Debütalbum aufzunehmen: “Der Song ist der letzte, den ich vor meinem Album veröffentliche. Darum habe ich mich für diesen Herzschmerz-Knaller entschieden: damit der Abschied zwar traurig ist, wir aber trotzdem lachen können.”

Die Playlist zum Song geht durch die Decke!

Anlässlich der Veröffentlichung des Tracks lassen Lauv und Troye die Spotify-Playlist “Lauv Loves” – aktuell die #13 der am häufigsten gefolgten, von Künstlern kuratierten Spotify-Playlisten, als gemeinsame Playlist wiederaufleben. Sie heißt jetzt „Lauv x Troye Sivan: i’m so tired…“ und enthält Songs, die Lauv und Troye gerne beim Einschlafen hören. Nach Bekanntgabe der Playlist gingen die Follower-Zahlen durch die Decke und erreichten mehr als 92.000.

“i’m so tired…” ist der Nachfolger von Lauvs Single “There’s No Way” mit der GRAMMY-nominierten Künstlerin Julia Michaels. Die Single ist aktuell auf #32 im Top 40 Radio, Tendenz steigend. Die Beiden haben die Single bei der Late Late Show with James Corden und der Late Show with Stephen Colbert live performt. 

Lauv hat bisher insgesamt mehr als 1 Mrd. Streams

Letztes Jahr präsentierte Lauv seine Hitsingle “I Like Me Better” in der „Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon“, sowie bei den „Teen Choice Awards 2018“, den „MTV Video Music Awards 2018“, „Jimmy Kimmel Live!“ und „TODAY“. Die Single schaffte es in die Top 10 im Top 40 Radio, #2 der Hot AC und die Top 10 der AC. Der Track war ein Highlight seines Projekts „I met you when I was 18.“ 2018, erreichte in den USA fast zweifach Platin und konnte weltweit bisher insgesamt mehr als 1 Mrd. Streams verzeichnen. 
Lauv beendete das vergangene Jahr mit den letzten USA-Terminen seiner Welttournee und als Supportact für Ed Sheeran auf dessen US-Stadiontour.
