Wer regelmäßig bei Hollywood Tramp vorbei schaut, mag sicherlich bemerkt haben, dass ich mein Leben lang schon ein großer Janet Jackson Fan bin. Dementsprechend schwer fällt mir an dieser Stelle eine neutrale Beurteilung ihrer neuen Single, weil…Kreisch!
Janet Jackson ist zurück! Naja, nicht ganz. Denn man muss an dieser Stelle anmerken, dass sie seit Ewigkeiten auf Tour ist. Sie unterbrach die Tour (und musste auch alle Europa Termine absagen), aufgrund ihrer Schwangerschaft und brachte ihr erstes Kind zur Welt. 2018 ging es dann in den USA wieder auf Tour. Janet bespielte diesen Sommer u.a. diverse Festivals.
Nun gibt es aber neue Musik von der Queen! Zusammen mit Daddy Yankee, der ja für Sommer-Hits bekannt ist, gibt es seit heute den Song und das Video zu „Made For Now“. Ein echter Gute-Laune-Song mit sommerlichen Vibes und der Unbeschwertheit einer Janet Jackson. Für mich ist das eines der besten Musikvideos und Songs seit langem. Slay, Sister!
Übrigens ist das der erste Release auf Janets neuem Indie Label.
