Christina Aguilera meldet sich mit einem neuen Song zurück, den sie zusammen mit Sia und Nile Rodgers gemacht hat. Damit ist das ihr zweiter offizieller Song in diesem Jahr, nach „Change“, den sie für die Opfer der Tragödie von Orlando veröffentlicht hatte.

Fan´s müssen nun aber stark bleiben. „Telepathy“ ist nicht die erste Single von Christina´s neuem Album. Auch, wenn wir es alle gehofft haben, gibt es keine offiziellen Infos zu einem anstehenden Album, außer, dass Aguilera auf jeden Fall dran arbeitet. „Telepathy“ ist ein Song für die neue Netflix-Serie „The Get Down“, die am 12.08.2016 weltweit auf Netflix startet. Den Song hat sie zusammen mit Sia und Nile Rodger, der in den 70er große Erfolge mit seiner Band „Chic“ feierte und bis heute noch große Hits wie „Get Lucky“ für Daft Punk produziert hat, aufgenommen.

Die an die 70er Disco-Era angelehnte Nummer, überzeugt mit „Funky Beat“s und den passenden Trompeten- und Saxophon-Elemente, die jede gute Disco-Nummer braucht. Den Stil kann Xtina von mir aus gerne direkt übernehmen und in ihr, hoffentlich bald, kommendes Album stecken. I like Disco-Xtina!
